I recently stayed at Aloft San Jose Hotel for a night using my Marriott Bonvoy points. While the hotel's atmosphere was typical of Aloft properties with clean and modern rooms, I was disappointed to find that my Bonvoy redemption did not include the complimentary breakfast that was available for all paid rates. The location was convenient, especially since there’s a shopping center across the street, but the front desk service could use some improvements, as it felt a bit indifferent at times.
